Paddington Clinical Life Sciences Hub is a flagship project transforming the former Imperial College medical school site into a world-class centre for clinical research, trials, and innovation.
We were commissioned to develop a bold, accessible brand identity and communications toolkit to support public consultation — balancing global scientific ambition with local relevance and community trust.
Working closely with the project team, we translated a complex scientific and urban renewal proposition into a clear, human-centred brand system. Our approach prioritised legibility, confidence and trust, using a clean design language and a modular visual structure inspired by scientific architecture and data systems. We avoided generic ‘consultation’ aesthetics, instead crafting a purpose-built identity that conveyed credibility, clarity and excitement.
We developed a series of digital and print assets including a consultation website, exhibition boards, event invitations, and a social media templates — all aligned with the brand’s visual and tonal principles.
The identity combines structure and warmth, capturing technical excellence with a clear and engaging visual system. It positions the project as a key driver of London’s life sciences future, supporting public consultation and community engagement through a credible and adaptable brand.
